Rev. Sharlene D. Stroud
Reverend Sharlene D. Stroud is a native of Decatur, Georgia, and a devoted wife to Kerry Stroud. She is the mother of two amazing daughters, Shania and Sharmaine. Her oldest, Shania preceded her into the kingdom of God. Through this profound loss, Rev. Stroud has channeled her grief into a powerful ministry, founding NOW Faith LLS, Inc., an organization dedicated to supporting individuals going through trials and tribulations.
NOW Faith LLS, Inc. provides hope and resources to those in need, reflecting Rev. Stroud’s deep compassion and commitment to uplifting others in their darkest moments. Her journey of faith, both personal and professional, continues to be a testimony of resilience, healing, and service. As a minister, Rev. Stroud is known for her ability to connect with people from all walks of life, guiding them with empathy, wisdom, and a profound sense of purpose.
Reverend Stroud received her divine calling in 1995 and was ordained in 1996. Guided by her unwavering faith and commitment to the five-fold ministry gifts, she seeks to fulfill God’s will in all aspects of her life, using her spiritual gifts as God directs.
Her favorite scripture, Philippians 3:14—”I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling which is in Christ Jesus”—reflects her perseverance and dedication to the ministry and her personal and professional goals.
Rev. Stroud is also highly accomplished academically. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fort Valley State University, a Master’s degree in Education from Central Michigan University, and her Elementary Education Certification from Mercer University. Though she took a brief hiatus from pursuing a Doctoral degree in Teacher Leadership at Walden University, she recently completed her Educational Leadership Certification from the University of West Georgia. She is currently serving as an Academic Coach in the DeKalb County School District, helping to shape the minds of future generations.
Through her ministry, education, and community service, Rev. Stroud continues to press toward the mark of her high calling, living out her faith in every endeavor. Her desire is to be a beacon of faith, hope, and love while serving the kingdom of God with grace and dedication.
